Intelligent corrosion control

Hevasure's patented water and corrosion monitoring technology for closed-circuit HVAC system is the most comprehensive available on the market.

Our fully integrated system incorporates a wide range of high-quality sensors connected to a sophisticated data acquisition system.

We remotely monitor water characteristics and corrosion rates in order to detect adverse conditions that could lead to corrosion damage, alerting users if intervention is required. All information is stored on the Hevasure dashboard, allowing customers to easily access information about their system.

Why Monitor Closed-Circuit Water Systems?

The cost of closed-circuit water system breakdown due to corrosion can run into the millions, resulting in expensive repairs, downtime and reputation damage. By identifying the conditions that lead to corrosion and subsequent system failure, Hevasure’s water monitoring technology allows M&E contractors and facilities managers to find the root cause of a problem and fix it before it becomes more serious.

For specifiers and building owners, monitoring water make-up from the outset and throughout a closed circuit system’s life, ensures design life is achieved, efficiencies are maintained and downtime is avoided.

Founder & Managing Director

Steve Munn is the founder and managing director of Hevasure. In 2011, Steve joined his brother, Dr Phil Munn at Midland Corrosion Services, helping to grow the business and investigate how new technology could be used to prevent corrosion in commercial heating and cooling systems – from these investigations, Hevasure’s ground breaking water system monitoring technology was born.

A graduate in materials science from Bath University, Steve started his career in materials research for technology led companies such as Lucas, Johnson Matthey and Mitel before taking time out to complete an MSc in Management Information Systems at Sheffield Business School.

With over 20 years’ project management experience working for several large organisations, including British Telecom, Atos Origin and GTECH, Steve has the blend of scientific and business acumen necessary to develop award-winning technology while establishing an innovative & successful business.

Outside of work, Steve’s interest includes hill walking, travelling and badminton.
