Hevasure Condor

Condor Device

Real-time remote corrosion monitoring

Hevasure Condor has been designed to specifically detect for corrosion, making it a cost-effective solution for smaller sites and secondary closed-circuit HVAC systems.

By identifying the presence and potential for corrosion in a range of metals (steel and copper), Hevasure’s unique monitoring technology alerts building owners and facilities managers to the development of a problem, allowing issues to be resolved before they become more serious. This approach can save tens of thousands of pounds in unplanned maintenance while preventing heating and chilled water system failure.

Monitoring for corrosion throughout a closed-loop system’s life ensures design life is achieved, efficiencies are maintained and unplanned downtime is avoided.

Cost effective corrosion monitoring

Hevasure Condor focuses solely on tracking corrosion, so uses less sensors than Hevasure Aquila which provides full water condition monitoring.

Parameters checked include:

  • Galvanic currents (converted to general corrosion rate of steel)
  • Crevice corrosion of steel and copper
  • Pitting attack on steel, copper
  • Temperature
  • Pressure (optional extra)

Cloud-based data storage, together with a sophisticated dashboard and reporting tool, enables maintenance teams to confidently check the health of their expensive assets, anytime, anywhere.

Automatic alarms (via email or SMS) provide notification when intervention is required. In large buildings, multiple Condor monitoring systems can be used, all communicating to a single GSM gateway. LoRa radio frequency transmission allows penetration through walls and over long distances.

The battery powered Condor unit is simple to install requiring only connection into the flow and return pipework. It can be fitted to new systems or retrofitted to existing ones.
